I recnently come across an stainless Dragon Fire bushing style compensator, seems working well after minor fitting works(some polishing, and grind 2mm off the guide rod bushing). Muzzle rise reduced like an 9mm defender, and put a couple nice groups at 30 yards.
Then the small trouble unfolded when i was trying to take the gun apart for clean up: compensator seems seized in the slide, have to pry it out with a big flat head screw driver.
The locking tap of the compensator seems crushed down abit, and so it developed a gap betweent slide and compensator. It some how make me wonder the SLS they used is too soft, or lacking for heat treatment. Further more, i am worried about the impact from shooting will eventurely flaten and spread the the bushing side of the compensator even more, so it may seized again or could be even worse.
Should i get a refund? Need heat treatment? or just suck it up?
Took all the pics, but how do i post or upload them here?
