About how long before I get my RPAL ?

Well after several years since I let go my restricted class, I have decided to get it back so I challenged the test and I passed :D

I taught all I had to do was to send my papers to CFC but I was wrong :(. My instructor as to send the result to the Ontario CFO who will then send me some paper that I will have to send to CFC in order to get my RPAL. ( and I just renewed my current PAL and received it two days ago !)

NOW !! can anyone tell me about what is the turn around on this ? About how long shall I expect to wait before I get my new RPAL in my hand ?

There's a sticky for Ontario RPAL wait times. I think it's in the newbie FAQ section.

Lesson there. Once you get something, don't let it go! No reason to.
 
By reading the responces of other Ont. people, they are backed up over a month. So, in short, probly not anytime soon, sorry.

Mine took 1 month to arrive in my hand, 3 weeks for final approval (AB).:D

You are telling me ! at one point I was so pissed at the stupid laws that I got rid of all my guns and tried to move on to something else. But you can take the guy out of guns but you cant take guns out of the guy. So here I am back to my first love ! Missed it too much !!
 
Well welcome back!

There's going to be a wait. Keeping loose tabs on it, you're about 3 weeks to get your papers back from the CFO. Then it's min 28 days, commonly 45 right now, at the CFC office. That 28 day minimum starts the day they receive your papers, not when it shows up online, so send it by registered mail (signature required) so you know exactly what day they received it. Then it's up to 2 weeks after they issue it before you physically get it in the mail.

In all, you're looking at 3 months, unless because you've already held restricted before you may be exempt from the 28 day waiting period.
 
not sure if the same applies for RPAL, but for just the PAL the current wait period to get your report back from the cfo is about 8 weeks. Took me close to 10. Not sure if they have been catching up at all, but for people who did it end of november early december we are just getting our reports now.
