About the 22lr conversion kit for Glock(Advantage Arms)

I recently tried one out (the LE, adjustable sights) and it is quite accurate (at least at 15-20m) BUT you must actually use only the ammo they specify. I found about 7 types that didn't work (exactly like the manual said - Federal, AE, PMC, Rem Thunderbolts, most hollow point). Hollow points seem to jam coming up feed ramp, others have a slightly smaller diameter base - the rim is too narrow for the extractor to grab reliably. CCI MiniMags worked perfect (even HP) but I will continue to try to find something else (cheaper
) that works.
) that works.I ordered one from The Shooting Edge. I had a problem with the barrel and they said send it back. I got it back from them and i have since put 3000 rounds through it. Thanks Redleg. Shooting off hand my Glock will shoot 3 inches at 25 yards. The 22 will shoot the same. Make sure you order spare mags to practise your reloads. malfunctions about one in a hundred.Overall I am very pleased with it.
PoliceOrdnance is the Canadian distributor so you might want to compare prices with them. One thing to note however is that since sales to private individuals is such a small part of their business, they don't accept Credit Cards. 
I've only ever shot CCI mini-mags through mine. Works great. One factor I didn't consider before buying is that the aluminum slide of the conversion kit combined with the polymer frame makes the gun even lighter than a stock Glock. Kind of a pro and a con all at the same time. I find holding steady with a light pistol to be a bit a challenge so in theory this should (with practice) help me improve my aim.

Wow, it must be light alright. Seems like that quality would make for a great carry gun for the bush (assuming this sort of thing were allowed here).
A fully loaded AA converted Glock feels like half the weight of a fully loaded stock Glock. You could pack it around on your hip all day just as easily as you do a cell phone. Not sure how useful a .22LR pistol would be in the bush though. Zombie squirrel defense?

As has been stated in the many previous threads on this subject over the past couple of years, I have found the Dynapoints which were/are available from WalMart to function well, as does the Winchester Wildcats and the Federal Bulk Pack 525's. Altho the Feds are 36g and the AA folks recc 40g HV as a minimum, I have not had a problems with the Federals. That may be due to the softer recoil spring as a result of many hundreds if not a couple of thousand rounds fired thru it. I found the Remmy T/Bolts to be very dirty and altho the CCI's function flawlessly, the price of them far exceeded that of the bulk packs.

I just got one and the Fed bulk 525s shoot great in it, I don't think I've had a single failure in about 400 rounds. The American Eagles fail to completely cycle the slide almost every round, getting through 40 of those was a chore.
