About the b14 compared to others..

I watched a canadian youtubers comparing the b14 to a tika. Good review but unfair because of the price difference.
So my question, what other options in the $1500 range compare to the b14 or come in a range less than $2000.
My guess might be a savage but I have no experience with that brand.
My 1990s browning and remington shoot very well indeed but I am looking at a lighter recoiling round, hopefully 7mm08 which looks good to me.

What are you asking exactly? You want something similar to the bergara but not a bergara? You think the tikka is too much? You want a gun for target shooting out of the box but want it in 7mm08?

there is a lot of price overlap in the tikka / bergarra rifles. Look at the tikka varmint, CTR. and UPR models compared to the b14 models available. yes, If you compare the high end of the Tikka line to the low end of the B14 line there is a big difference. but if you compare the high end bergarra pro line to the low end tikka's the price difference is about the same.
