But hey, if ugly chicks and guns are your thing then knock yourself out.... just realize you are in the minority. :D

If I remember correctly, parts for the armscor were an issue - especially magazines.

These rifles vary in quality, but in my experience, are very reliable. There are, I assume, later versions with a plastic trigger-group housing. Disassemble the potential purchase and check the trigger-group housing. The magazine shell was also later changed to plastic.

The stock is PAINTED black on the first picture. All the stocks for these rifles are wood, so mine was just stripped. They were also sold this way.

I paid $160.00.

Mine had the metal trigger group housing and magazine shroud. BTW I am not talking about the outer trigger group housing as that is painted metal, but the inner trigger group housing which on some models is plastic.

a friend of mine... btw i got a little scratch on the handguard and its no wooden but a kind of grey

That rifle is a Squires Bingham M16, made in the Philippines. I've had three of them over the years.
I stripped the crappy paint off one of the stocks, didn't like the wood that was revealed. So I took it to a wood finishing shop, he refinished it in black...the same exact finish as on a baby grand piano...looked pretty damned good!
They're a good working little rifle if the sights are a big crappy...eventually a screw works loose that holds the trigger group housing to the tube...a bit of loctite fixes that. 15 rd mag.

I got mine from my father who have no more interest in it. What kind of ammo do you shoot? Mine can't shoot a clip without jamming one or two times and as far as my dad remembers it was always like this.

Its was the first time we were trying it... My ac-m16-22 never fired and on 50 rounds, only 2-3 jams.I think i was using old (starting of '90)winchester or remigton sidewinter'50 ammo. My father paid $8 for 1000 rounds

When one of these is clean they don't jam much. I used to fire Stingers or other hot ammo in it...
You need to clean it. Remove the action from the stock, unthread the rear action cap, carefully holding it to cage the big springs in there. take the bolt out and clean the tube and bolt and bore from the rear, then lube it with Break Free or similar. It's likely gummed right up.
Make sure the screw that goes up into the action at the rear isn't loose.

When they're clean they work like Jack the Bear....I had lots of fun with mine.

When putting it back together, you have to hold the tripping lever to the rear so the bolt can go back in. Do you have the manual?

BTW, I gave mine away when they came out with the list of restricted and prohib rifles long ago...it was said that it was an AR15 lookalike and thus restricted. In the fullness of time it seems it's not so...kind of wish I kept mine.
