Accessing the T97's pistol-grip storage compartment?

Hi Guys,

I seem to have already mislaid the Owner's Manual for my new T97 ...

Is there a particular trick or technique for popping-off the little plastic cap on the base of the T97's pistol grip ... to provide access into the little storage space inside the grip? It cannot be slid open ... nothing about it appears intuitive ... other than wedging a suitably-sized basic slotted screwdriver into the tight-looking crack/seam at the front or rear, and levering it open. But that seems kinda rough ...

There should be a plunger holding the cap in place. It has to be held down, the the cap can be slid out.

Aha! Thank you! That was the first thing that I had tried, but I just hadn't pressed hard enough. I just now used the "flat" of a slotted screwdriver, and it worked like a charm.

Gotta love this forum ...
