Account Disabled - Can't Post?

I tried to reply to a rifle for sale a few minutes ago and I couldn't post. A new screen came up saying that either my account hasn't been activated, which it was a couple of weeks ago, or a moderator restricted my account or something to that effect.

Have I been bad or is this due to a weekly upgrade of the system or something?

Only the original poster can post within the ad. You need to use the PM 'Private Message' function to reply to the original poster.

To access the private message function, just click on the seller's name.

No problem; the current setup happened a few years ago as each ad was getting cluttered up with irrelevant stuff and making it hard for the moderators to moderate things.

It was a good move to set permissions like that IMO. It was a mess before.
