Accu shot Atlas Bipod

So im looking at getting a bipod for my Tikka T3 Tactical. Ive narrowed it down to an Atlas Bipod by Accu shot. However, there is some sort of swivel that the attachment for the sling goes, does it go here, or can i mount a bottom rail on it?? May very well be a silly question but im not sure!

Yes, yes you will need to get a rail adapter. The atlas only attaches to a picatinny rail and not the common sling swivel that your rifle comes with factory. For you I would recommend go to blackhawk tactical and pickup a SWIVEL STUD PICATINNY RAIL ADAPTOR - this should allow you to convert your swivel to a rail section without any gun smithing.
