Anyone seen any Nosler Accubonds in like, the last year? I've been looking for 160 gr. .284's every time I walk into a gun store or do any online shopping for at least the last 12 months and have yet to find anything. I was road tripping down into southern BC a few months ago to pick up some taxidermy and had a guy in Merrit tell me Nosler was discontinuing the line, but I have a hard time believing that. Im assuming it's the standard "supply chain issues" that everything else has been suffering, but I've seen Hornady and Sierra restock several times in the local shops in the same timeline.

Pretty popular projectile. Some companies "paused" or discontinued some projectile that didn't sell or oddball weight, bore etc. Basically, can't keep up on the real popular stuff, why lose money changing dies, tooling on a production line.

I'm guessing it's the combination of a democrat in the white house, and the plandemic.

Powder, is starting to make it in country, primer is impossible to find and very pricey. First I've really heard about common projectile being unfindable.

I'm a big fan of the Accubonds, they are a wonderful bullet, a premium bullet. However, Nosler is becoming overly expensive, to say the least. Today, I was notified by a dealer that 270 130gr. Accubonds are available at the store...........$94.99. I'm not blaming the dealer for their price, but Nosler...........they can go pound sand!!! Best of luck with your search, I hope you have deep pockets.

Is that for 50 count or 100?

I have no idea what was seen in that store, but I think Accubond comes in boxes of 50 - for Accubonds, there is 250 grain 9.3 mm, 225 grain .338" and 130 grain 6.5 mm here - all are in Nosler boxes of 50. Several are still factory sealed. There is picture of 150 grain .308" Accubond box - page 22 in Nosler 9 Manual - on that box it says is count of 50 in there.

Iv found a few boxes of 6.5 140’s by setting the email notifications when re stocked. Barton’s big country was the last place I found 2 boxes using the email notification. The last handful of boxes Iv found the last couple years have been upwards of $100 for a box of 50.

On that note, I found another box in Smithers Can tire a couple weeks ago, for $65! Best score Iv found in a long time.

I recommend searching a bunch of reliable stores, and setting those re stock email notifications.

Cheers.

I agree. I'd like to try the 130 AB in my .270, but I'm not paying $2 for any projectile. I have enough 130 interlocs to last a lifetime.

seems the price in those days for many bullets, there are many calibers not made by nosler recently ... they re focusing on the high demand an not time for the lesser requested ones.

I haven't seen any 7mm 160gr NAB since summer of 2021. Great bullet in my 280AI and my nephew's 280 Rem, and a buddy's 7mm Rem Mag

Nosler keeps ramping up the price on their lineup, more so than any other brand. At this point I think I'll be looking at other bullets once my supply runs out

Are the Hornady Interbonds a good option?

For the price of 50 Nosler pills. I’m leaning towards Barnes bullets.
They seam to be keeping up with demand all things considered

I agree with many of the previous comments, Nosler projectiles are grossly overpriced, I actively avoid working up loads with their bullets because they are always hard to find and priced well beyond what they should be.

I was in Barton's yesterday and saw some new stock of AccuBonds and Ballistic Tips on the shelf, and the price has come down on them too. I am not in need of any at the moment so did not pay too much attention to the price of the 6.5 140's, and the 257 115's. Just seeing the new stock on the shelf was encouraging.
Best give them a call to confirm price and inventory

The discussion so far has been entirely focused on availability of Nosler Accubonds. And that's an important issue. However, I'd be interested in hearing about performance on game with the Accubonds. Since they are a bonded-core bullet, I'd expect good game-field results, but has that been the case? I haven't tried any in my rifles, but I've read that they are an accurate bullet--a little more so than the Partition--and shoot much like the Nosler Ballistic Tips. I wonder how they do on really heavy big-boned game like elk, moose, and bears. I've thought that probably the best bullet for this class of game might be the Swift A-Frame bullets. These have both a heavy partition and a bonded front core.

I would use an Accubond anywhere I would use a Nosler Partition.
