Between the 3 rifles assuming they are all in similar condition I was wondering if one is usually more accurate than another, using their stock apperature sights

I have used a number of each model. Accuracy ranged from very good to terrible for all them.

If I was to be given my choice of all three, with the object to make it accurate, I would take the P14.

Simply because the P14 has the longest sight radius of all of them, gives it a big advantage before bedding, bore condition etc... come into play. It also has the longest barrel so your bullet doesn't have to travel as far to the target! Haha :)

The P14 was intended as an improvement to replace the Lee-Enfield and featured a number of accuracy enhancing features incl a front locking bolt, improved bedding system, a heavier barrel and aperture sights. WW1 precluded the planned replacement program so the LE, incl the more refined No4, was kept as the standard. Had WW1 not occurred, and had the Brits established production facilities for the P14, the Lee-Enfield story would have ended in 1914.

"...Accuracy ranged from very good to terrible for all them..." It's all about the barrels and the quality of the ammo. The diameter of the bullet vs that of the barrel matters with No. 4's and 5's too.

I've owned a number of all 3 ( and still do ) while I've had accurate examples of all 3, on average the p-14's were generally more accurate. That being said , I like all of them
