So today I was at the range and for curiosity I shot some groups off the sandbags at 25 yards.

Best the Glock would do was 10 shots in a about a 6" circle for comparison I shot my Uberti revolver and got 2" groups

Question is what is reasonable to expect a Glock 35 in 40 SW to be able to do ? With shooter inability removed lol...
.

6" @25m is not great. I can do better offhand with most of what I own. Off a rest I wouldn't be happy with anything more than 3", and even that isn't great.

Some things I would look at, you did good with your Uberti so I would say sights, fit, or ammo aren't working for you with the Glock. Glocks and especially 34/35s produce good accuracy in my experience but I have a ton of time with them.

Yup I do need a little more work with the Glock. Just funny how the Uberti with the crude notch in the frame and that big front blade just tore a big hole at the exact point of aim. Plus the single action revolver has a much lighter trigger as well.

Discussions about accuracy in forums are irrelevant most of the time...

Go to the range and look around. Groups tend to be a little wider then what you can read often.

Did you guys read the OP? Pretty much any gun is capable of better accuracy than that unless something isn't working. This thread is about what isn't working... He was using a rest, he shot his revolver just fine, 2" is pretty good. Without more information provided it's just speculation but that seems to be what he is after.

Definitely need to get used to the trigger. Had a Glock 22 in 40 SW but that was quite a while ago. My question was about the capability of the gun ( I know I need more trigger time with it).

It’s a gun designed for competition so I would wager that the gun is more accurate than the shooter.
but since there’s a g34 on arms east you should save yourself more anguish and sell that G35 to buy that G34 and save money on wasted target misses ;)

What is the natural spread of the firearm from factory? What is the brand claims?

1.5 ? 2 inches at 25 yards?

At that point the gun shoots better then you.

Now in this case. Yes. Probably the the gun is suppose to do better then 6 inches...

I used Cam Pro 180's with 3.8 gr. of Titegroup and shot smaller two handed unsupported groups at 25 yards. I have also changed the sights to Dawson front fiber optic and Heinie rear which made a big difference. Stock Glock sights are crap.
