Last year I traded off my Accuracy International AW in 308 which I had owned for years. It was my first rifle and I did just about every type of shooting with it. I immediately regretted the decision and worked to get it back. Once back in my possession, I decided to do some life cycle management on the rifle and get back in true form.

After an extensive cleaning, I sent the skins from the AW off to Trevor at Cobra Imaging. Trevor is a great guy to deal with and helped me work through what I wanted to get done. I am sending a number of other stocks off to get finished as well. I think it turned out rather well:

I would not hesitate for a moment to send my stuff to Trevor. He has access to tons of camo and colours. Give him a shout.

yes...because three people sent me PMs on it although I am not concerned...it appears to be a US gun board thing. Just did not need extra PMs on it.

Ever notice how a great paint job makes a rifle shoot better like washing your car makes it run better. Nice rifle - great paint! Brit forces would be proud - looks really close to some of theirs.

Hi There,

Looks great I have same stock on my REM 700 stainless steel and really want this como. How can I reach this Travor guy and how much it will cost ?
Thanks

Hey Buds, nice stuff. I see your running a S&B on that stick, I thought I saw a pic of one of your rifles with a Premier Reticle scope on it? if thats the case care to comment on the scope, I'm thinking of "selling the farm" to buy one.

Schmidt and Bender all the way. I love them. CF and USMC issue not to mention the brits, dutch, norgies etc...

The 5-25 is outstanding. I have since scaled back the AW as pictured to a 3-12 PMII double turn turret with P4 reticle. They are fantastic scopes and worth every penny.

By this comment I trust you are talking about the Premier Reticle 5X25?
I'm looking at the 3X15, how did you like some of the features, like the quick flip up caps to zero the turrets? Where can you view the reticle choices of the PR product?
Is PGW still the importer? I see they have a guy listed on there website in NS, Armament Technologies? I thought buddy had "shut'er down" a while ago?

No, I was saying Schmidt and Bender all the way. I don't own anything else for my precision guns. You can't go wrong with them. Proven and good to go. I think the two turn turrent is fantastic. I solves the problem of having multiple rings as the turret spirals up like you get with a nightforce or M1 leupolds.

Great rig.

Can you even see the Burris beyond that turrent??? :)

You will have to come down and burn some powder LR.

Love those pod feet. could be used as a defensive weapon.

Jerry

Jerry,

Still experimenting with the micro red dot. In this configuration, the dot is visible as you look across the top of the turret. Seems to work but I need to raise it slightly or cant it. Still working on options. The lightweight nature makes it very useful for close engagements. I had that happen deer hunting with the pictured rifle. If I had had it mounted then, I think I might have been able to deal with it......deer at 10 metres...surprise engagement...

+1
I second that big time! I'm permanently hooked to them from now on!

Nice looking stock Morpheus, I was toying with the idea of getting cobra to do a stock for me. This thread seals the deal.
