Hi all. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an AI rifle, and have a couple questions.
First of all, is there a Canadian source for aftermarket barrels for these fine rifles? If not, what US manufacture would you recommend? I'm thinking a 6mm Creed would go nicely with the factory 308 barrel!
2nd question is, will the AW style thumb hole skins drop on to an AT? This is not a deal killer for me but would like to know my options.
Thanks for any help!

Barrels: Insite Arms in Alberta. They will make any caliber, profile you want.

Skins: Rear section yes, front section no. You can order a thumbhole conversion for the AT from Wolverine Supplies.

Any quality barrel maker makes a 6mm barrel in whatever twist you want.

A good gunsmith that does precision rifles can thread the barrel to fit the AI and chamber it in the caliber of your choice.

He could make it a switch barrel rifle for you, so you can easily swap barrels yourself.

The AT is a switch barrel rifle and not that easy to make a pre-fit for (action can not be removed from chassis) Insite has been doing these for a while now and were taught by Gradous. They are the only place up here I would go to for an AI barrel.

Same system but different threads.
We carry a few of the AI prefit barrels in the smaller calibers in the shop. All made by Insite.
