Accuracy load for 8mm Mauser

I've just picked up one of the Yugo M48's ( well two actually but that must remain unknown to the domestic team leader Mrs. Tomochan ) and I am using the underpowered factory ammo whilst waiting for reloading dies to arrive. If anyone out there has a tried and tested accuacy load they want to share I am all ears. I plan on using 200grain Sierra Match Kings to start but I am not married to any particular bullet weight going forward.

I shoot alot of 7.92x57 mm my load is 48.2 grains imr 4895 150 hornady spitzer.col 2.95 ish.for my m48 it liked re15 under same projectile cant recall how much.the 200 grain projectiles (cant get them anymore)seemed to do best with varget.hope this helps

For 175 Grain Sierra Bullets Try IMR-4064. Works fine for the Model 98 I load for.
