Do Sakos or cooper offer a Single shot version ?

Actually Cooper has more single shot models than repeaters.

I am not experienced enough, so I have to ask the following question.
The Sako Varmint has 1:8 twist rate.
The Cooper has 1:14 twist rate.

Is one more preferable than the other?
