With a good solid rest to eliminate shooter error, both my tikka's (30-06 and 7-08) shoot handloads at 1/2 MOA easily. 1" groups are actually disappointing to look at. I couldn't even fathom being satisfied with a 3" group which is almost not in the same postal code when it comes to accuracy. Of course that is with a good rest which goes a long way to eliminating my shortcomings. If I could shoot a 3 MOA group while standing or kneeling I would be happy with that since I know it is me and not the rifle that is at fault.
