Accurate 9mm to 50 yds?

You should also include what you are willing to pay for that accurate 9mm.

Sig 210 around $3,000 +

Sig 226 X-5 starting at around $2,500

Or you can go with a custom 1911, say a Les Bauer PPC gun, also $3,000 +

I had and sold a Walther P88, it was too nice for car/truck/carry. My next most accurate 9mm is a Browning BDM. Lastly, I understand the premier 9mm, for accuracy, is the Sig P210. Regards, Richard:D

What do you call accuracy?
What would a ten shot unsupported handheld group at 50 yds. be?
What would a ten shot unsupported handheld group at 25 yds. be?

IMHO. More important, what accuracy does a given pistol produce out of a machine rest.

A handheld group wether supported or not is affected by the ability of the shooter to reproduce the aimpoint and hold for every shot.

A gun that is more accurate out of the machine-rest, should produce better groups from an individual shooter than a less accurate gun under the same conditions.
This assumes that other factors are equal (trigger pull, sights, grip, etc.).

Cheers.

I've never found a more accurate semi-auto (for the price) than the S&W PPC-9's... under 2 inch groups at 50 yards...

The SIG MasterShop X-Five and X-Six PPC Guns will match the accuracy but they are almost double the price. There are some US custom guns as well that will match this but again they are $3,000 + USD.

The S&W PPC-9's are incredible.

how accurate I can hit a silhouette sized target with 10 rnds with my 350 np22 shooting free hand

With the Norinco NP 22 I get a 7" group at 50 yards (both hands) free hand, sometimes better but
with manual support on the bench around 5" with very careful aim using Chinese
9mm ammo. My handloads don't do any better than that.
I would like to know what the NP 22 can do in a machine rest at that distance. Anyone tried??
I can not do any better with my SIG 226 .
Must be me !!!

Once I found out how much to hold over I could ring them off our 100 yard gong very regularly from a rest with my Browning Hi-power. It was fun but was it practical? No. If you want to shoot a 9mm at 50 yards get yourself a carbine. I had a Mech Tech CCU for my Norc 45 that was very accurate at 100yrds...
