Am I doing something wrong or is my accutrigger only supposed to get as light as 3 lbs pull. My papers that came with the gun say 1.5lbs to 6lbs. I am getting 3lbs to 6lbs. The gun model is 10fple2b but that should not matter? Anybody else have the same results?

Some of them do have issues with not being able to adjust them to the advertised weight pull. Might be a situation where you're going to send it away for waranty repair.

Some one talked about this same subject about a year or two ago that the hunting version rifles with the accu-trigger were only adjustable to 3 lbs but the LE models could do 1.5 lbs.

Seems they had a hunting model and phoned Savage about it, and that was the responce they got.

Seems wierd though that yours is the LE model and is having the problem. I was able to drop mine to 1.5 lbs

I made some minor adjustments to my 12bvss accutrigger for range work that worked out nicely. Lighter springs and less tension. after making any trigger adjustments you must do safety tests to prevent accidental firing.

I built my own spring now and it is down to 1.5lbs. I have not fired it yet but it seems to function properly with the gun in any angle or postition with a dummy in the chamber. I think I will contact Savage and see if they can send me a new LE spring and see what happens.

If you don't have a pull scale, stacking fishing weights on a line will do the job, but really if it feels good..........
