Does anyone have any information on a single shot 22LR rifle marked ACE 1 on the top of the receiver??

It's a cooey marketed as a boys rifle worth the same as your average cooey.

As suggested the ACE 1 was made by Cooey. Models varied slightly, and production ran from aprox 1929-1942. One could be purchased new in 1933 for under $3.00. Fun little single shot .22s that can provide surprising accuracy. Most rural doors had one, or something similar tucked behind them. Although older, a modern day's worth of fun can still be had with them.

It is what I started with and my kids as well ,,great little pea shooter .lots of fun and cheap to shoot,every boy should have one ,, I have seen them go for 45$ to 150$ .Dutch
