ACE .22 rifle

I have this ACE 1 .22 Cal rifle, 16 inch barrel, single shot, bolt, no other markings anywhere on the gun except for "ACE 1 .22 CAL"
Looks to be older than dirt.

Firstly, the bolt is missing - where might I find one ?

Second, I know nothing about this gun or model, can anyone shed some light on it ? Who makes them ? Where were they made ?
Is ACE a brand name ? Are they still made ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cooey made them, all the bolts should be the same for the single shot .22s. A Cdn seller on Gunbroker sells Cooey bits, he often has bolts for sale. Just search Cooey on GB, it'll come up.

How come there are so many Cooeys missing their bolts? Is this in any way related to the stray shoe on the roadside phenomena?
