I'm also looking at these for the kids AR.
I went to Leapers web site& liked the SCP3-M3124AOMD, 3-12x44 ACOG look alike.
Milarm has them for $270.00
On E-bay they sell for around $25 US????? But of course we can't get them up here.

Was also looking at the SCP-T168, 6x that Marstar has for $109.00 & Milarm for $125.00. But I don't like the way they made the "carry handle" mnt bolt onto a Weaver style mnt.

I know the quality isn't up there, but for 5 or 6 shoots a year they would last.

There is a board member that sell the Leopold replicas and he also sells the Trigicon NSN T01 replica for $170 on his web site ###.1337tactical.com . On his site, there is a review on it by a AR15.com board member, it is very positive.

how is the durability of these clones? I saw some threads on ar15.com and there were a few doubters. Anyone here tried them?

I've got one of the ACOG knockoffs. It looks like the TA01 and when I put it alongside my TA31F ACOG, the outside aluminum was identical. I could not believe how accurate the Kommunists copied the ACOG.

The electronics are identical to the Aimpoint M2 Clone that I bought from CGN member Jackyiscxd. I have had great success (range queen rifles AR15) with this Aimpoint knockoff.

I bought the ACOG knockoff for my 14.5" barreled flat top upper used in carbine matches in the ORA. So far it's been holding zero. I landed this scope in Ontario for all of $ 80 and I ain't complaining. Would I get another ? Sure I would because I'm shooting this AR combination inside 200 meters.

Besides, I'm too old to deploy to Asskrakistan....

Hope this helps.... This is sounding like the Leupold knockoffs I bought....

Cheers,
Barney

I've got one! Cost me around $65 CAN, looks EXACTLY like the real thing (I don't have a real one to compare with, like Hungry, but it does look like the TA01 judging by pics on Trijicon's website). Mine also has red-dot internals like Hungry's, no magnification, just a 4 MOA red cross reticle. The lens is crystal clear, and the dot is nice 'n crisp, no fuzz. You can definetely tell it's a copy though, the part of the mount riser that looks like it slides just doesn't slide, it's cast as one piece :p I haven't banged it around much, but it seems pretty solid, so I don't anticipate much trouble. For the money, you can't really go wrong, I mean you could buy two and throw one in the toilet and still be saving money!!

1337Tactical

I have order one of those Clone Acog TA01 from 1337tactical out of Toronto, so far it had been 2 week, and after a haft dozens Pm, plus email, haven't heard anything back concerning the order, I did the order from 1337tactical website, and did the EMT though bank of montreal, so far there is no return of message or anything concerning the Order or Package. I am not sure how there business is setting up, but I like to heard alittle more about how you guy been deal with concerning Ordering product from 1337Tactical web site?, because I was thinking about purchase additional scope and product that are offer from 1337Tactical.

Gunboy: I'm glad it's all sorted out.

Poweredbybeer: I've got the little red crosshair reticle. It's been holding zero on my range queen 14.5" flat top upper and I'm pleased for the money I paid, I really don't give a shzt.

TA 30 Adapter kit

I bought an ACOG clone from Jackyiscxd and on his website. It was mentioned you needed a TA30 adapter kit to mount the clone on an in-handle mount for the AR.

Jon emailed me back last week saying they would have to manufacture the screw and adapter and he would get back to me.

I got an email today saying the adapter kit was not available from them.

Does anyone know where to get this adapter kit, TA30? I couldn't find it listed on the Trijicon site.

Just got back from the range, the Acog clone working out to be not bad(Pretty good), for the prices, I got around 1.5 inchs with my HB ar15, and around 2 inchs with my 16inchs, not bad for the prices, I get another one for sure.

the cheaper Acog clone is around $60.00 USD
It is only 1x, & a red dot.
e hobby asia has them.
They also have an Elcan clone, 4x for $112.00 USD.
& the Aimpoint clone starting from $29.00 USD

These all of course come from Hong Kong.

The better Acog clone is the one that 1337 carries (manufactured by G&P) as it's 4x & has cross hair type sighting. Their price is $185.00 CDN which is pretty good as on the U.S. air soft dealer sites they go for around the $200 USD.

There are also a few other Acog models cloned, some with fake illumination & one with a fake holo sight on top.

If you have lots of time to read, go to

ar15.com

"Optics, mounts & sights"

"best acog clone"

I typed in 1337 tactical on google, is he the guy that sells things on Ebay?
Does he ever sell things on here? I dont have a credit card yet, and would prefer to do EMT.

Hungry here: Yes he is the guy who sells on ebay. Yes he does EMT. Yes he sells stuff on our CGN board. I bought an Aimpoint knockoff which I dearly loved. Then I sold it for an ACOG knockoff, with the same Aimpoint knockoff internals, it's a 1X with red crosshair.
