Any opinions on this GG&G AccuCam mount for the ACOG?

And which is a good BUIS? I noticed the BUIS do not have elevation adjustment, correct?

It looks like this one folds toward the shooter, for better clearance:

I had a Troy BUIS that fitted neatly under my TA31F. The short eye relief of the ACOG 4X32 and BUIS edging the ACOG further down the rail combined with the realisation that I didn't need a BUIS for Service or 3 gun shoots or any other type of shooting that I do led me to removing it. After all it isn't like a battery is on the off chance going to give out. But that is just me.

If you did want a BUIS with elevation adjustments you might try for a Matech one or a KAC 600m one, there are probably many others but they are the ones I know of.

GG&G is good, LaRue is great, but as said, hard to find.

I have the GG&G for my Eotech and it does the job good. I guess it can do as well for the ACOG.

For a BUIS, I tried a Troy and a GG&G MAD with the ACOG, both worked fine.

Batteries are mechanical inside, and can and do break under recoil. Two have died on me (gone from 1.7v, working fine, to .3v and clearly not working, during a match).

If your type of shooting allows range alibis, no big deal, just put a new battery in and reshoot. If not, a BUIS will save your event.

Anything that folds up without pushing a button, and then locks in place, and clears your optic while folded, is fine.

here's my set up.

TA31 RCO-M4 plus the matech

azn hitman, I run the same setup as you but with the TA31 RCO-A4 with Doc Optic red dot on winged mount. Used on a Sabre Defence XR15 A4. Basically same setup as US Marine Corp use on M16A4 (mine) and M4 (yours). I have used most of the BUIS out these that are of combat quality and would only recommend LMT (not if using ACOG), Knights Armament 300m and 600m as well as Matech. A.R.M.S is OK as is GG&G but I prefer the first three mentioned.

I have a compact Larue Mount for my TA33R, compact ACOG 3X with chevron. I just received some Troy sights from Fabsports so my AR15 is now done!!!
