ACOG Newbie

I am new to optics and i just would like to know some info on ACOG sights. I was on the Trijicon website looking at them and i was confused when seeing the different models in magnifications from 1.5x - 6x magnification. Now, my question is are these fixed only at the magnifications they say? Or can these be switched down all the way to 1.5x by a flick of the knob? If someone can enlighten me on this that would help a lot.

They are fixed power, I believe there scopes are variable.
