ACOG problem

Hi,
I have purchased a ACOG TA31A so time ago. When I look very closly to the scope I see a very tiny hole at the bottom left of of the scope outside the sight picture. I see it as a hole as light seems to go through it. It gets brighter when there is sunlight. Is it defective? Please help. Thanks.

(Update: Here are the pictures of the dot hole. I showed it to my friend and he thinks that it is not a hole but something inside the scope is not colored as black and is reflective to sunlight. But I am not sure of anything. I am thinking of exchange another one though.)

If it's not a hole in the body, I wouldn't worry about it. You can't manage to take a picture of this phenomenon right?

could it be dust in the scope tube ? probably happened during manufacturing...

did you buy the optic new ? if so, was that spot always there ?
