Talked to a Remington rep a couple months ago and he says the ACR made by Remington will eventually come up here to be sold for around $2500. My first response to him was I want one and I also need to find a job...:(

nice. I thought it would be in the $4000 mark, as i heard rumors it was going to be around $3000 in the US.

I know nothing is official yet, and we probably won't see one in canada for a year or so.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

If you do YOUR part for OUR movement, hopefully, very little restrictions.

If you sit BACK while the socialists destroy C-391, and ban all restricted semi-autos as they desire, you can kiss this as UNOBTANIUM.

Oops! I think you are lost;
Firearms Politics Forums

I come to the black rifle forum to relax, it's a little hard with all these soap-boxes clutterin' the place up...

No offense intended :)

No, it shouldn't be.

I've completely stopped looking at the politics-laden parts of the board because they annoy me with the sheer amount of misinformation, ignorance, slandering, paranoia, and narrow-mindedness I would hope did not come from the minds of Canadians. The Firearms and Optics part of the board is interesting, can be entertaining, and a very good resource, and it would be a shame if it ended poisoned by the stink of political partisanship.

If people want to do gun politics, they'll go to that part of the forum.

Don't they take regular AR barrels?
I thought that was no longer the case anymore? Or my memory is a bit faulty.

Actually your sig line says it all..............
I had that sig because I got tired of explaining the difference when I frequented the other sections, but, you're right, since I've amputated myself from those sections, I'll change it.

I got to try out an F/A ACR back in Dec. at FB3G...

Sure... It's a nice rifle, but really... It's just another bullet-hose.
Sure it has a couple of neat features, but really... I can live without 'em.
I can't understand how eager some are to lay down $$ for a "new" rifle without ever having even seen one in the flesh.
I guess it's like the flavour of the month syndrom... 'Same as when the XCR came about... Months of speculation followed by jubulant postings and amatuer range reports followed by a glut of second hand units in the EE :D

I'll stick with my tried and true AR.

If it's N/R and at least as good as a mid level AR, it will sell.
