Acronyms I have come across, correct me if I'm wrong

IIRC - If I remember correctly
IMHO - In my humble opinion
AFAIK - As far as I know
BTW - By the way
NFW - No F***ing way
IMO - In my opinion

These are just the ones I know, any additional ones would be helpful

wow, thats, uh, pretty comprehensive, thanks for the link, but I was mostly focused on ones used on CGN,

I gave up on instant messaging and things like facebook years ago.

Can you guys post more acronyms used here on CGN? I don't mean the ones most of you post for a laugh but ones like WTB/WTS and SPF ones. Also where can I find terms to meanings of such words as arsenal refinished or refurbished and or import markings on milsurps? And talking about milsurps what does it stand for anyway? Military surplus or something else??

FPS or fps = feet per second, a measure of velocity.
FPE = foot pounds (of) energy.

And then there all the bullet style abbreviations;
FMJ = full metal jacket (no exposed lead on the front)
HPBT = hollow point, boat tail
and about 2 dozen more. And sometimes the same bullet construction can be described differently depending on the manufacturer.
Bullet maker web sites and loading manuals are the best place to explore those.

Already mentioned.
WTB - Wanted to Buy
WTS - Wanted to Sell
SPF - Sold, Pending Funds. Item is considered sold, but the money has not been exchanged yet so it could go back up for sale.
WTT - Wanting to Trade

Milsurp - Yep, it stands for military surplus.
Import markings on milsurps - is just markings that importers have put on a firearm. Not required in Canada for now, but I believe the US requires it, or used too.
Arsenal refinished or refurbished - basically a firearm that had a touch up at factory. New stock, something like that. Usually marked to indicate that it has been done.
