Action Choice....

If they WERE all equally strong, reliable and accurate.... why would anyone want to use other than a Semi-Auto :?
In the not so perfect real world.... it's got to be a bolt-action :wink:

Well, for one thing, I hate chasing brass for reloads, so a semi just pisses me off no matter how reliable or accurate :idea:

I have semi, lever, pump, and bolt guns (and some revolvers too but this is a rifle question) I would have to say bolt guns are my action of choice. Strong and reliable with fewer moving parts.

I chose a Pump. If you are getting meat, nothing is quicker and more realiable in tight brush than a pump 7600 8) (in 30-06 of course )

Besides.... Nothing quite says "Take that #####!" like the blast from a pump with a resounding double-tap for good measure. Just sounds mean! 8)

In reality, I am a true gun nut... I have to have 2 of everything. :twisted:

Its a PERFECT world! All are eqally strong, accurate, same magazines, same barrel length etc, the only difference is the action style....which would you preffer

Since this is not a PERFECT world,I choose the bolt action.
