Action screw question Rem 700

Good evening all,
Just working on a Rem 700 build in 7mm Rem Mag. I just replaced the B&C stock with an HS stock. Could someone please educate me on action screw length? Is this enough? I have a longer screw that protrudes and would have to be filed down but if I can get away with using this screw with no risk of issues I will just keep it.

Approximately 2 threads from being flush. Thanks for the help in advance!

screws lenght will be différent for different stocks. when you get a no mathch with too long screws, easy fix, just grind a little.
when they are little to short and dont have others close to hand and want to shoot now, the is the option to countersink little deeper if enough meet left on the bottom mettal.

if there is a near good fasteners dealer neer yout areal ist just standard 1/4 NF thread then pic the head that fit your mottom mettal and grind it to desired lenght.
