action screws for m700

Does anyone know where I can get socket head (Allen) action screws for my SA Rem 700?

Any 1/4-28 screws will fit, just cut to length

that's what I've been doing....1/4 UNF or 28tpi...get them with the 82 degree head...I machine the shoulders back so you don't lose so much allen key register and face the top at an angle..a little cold blue and you're set. Buy them in 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" ...grind to length to get full thread engagment..most 700's only use about half the threads in the receiver....more engagement is better.

Great, thanks for the info. I am going the "make it yourself" route. I was wondering if it was a common thread.
