What wrench do I need to take the barrel off of a sako m995 TRGs.

Get ahold of gunrunner8 on this site. He makes up the internal type for any specific firearm you would need one for. His price is reasonable as well. He does have an ad in the EE.
Guntechs action wrench is fine, as long as you have a flat bottom on your receiver. If you're only taking off and installing one barrel, it would be cheaper to take it to a gunsmith for a one time job. The only other drawback with this wrench is you need either aluminum or brass shim stock to protect the receiver.

Not if the wrench is correctly used and adjusted you don't, even if you're being super anal all you really need is a layer of masking tape. I have never marred an action using the proper wrench, properly adjusted and tightened. The only action I'm aware of that absolutely requires an inside butterfly is the Rem 700 or any of it's clones.
