Hey, I've never bought a Macmillan stock yet...on 24hr Campfire my price, with the 25$ shipping comes out to 555.00 USD. The exchange rate is pretty good right now, for those that have ordered them, what other costs do you get hit with? I'm expecting GST and maybe duty, I've found the stock at a CAN retailer, but it's over 900$. I don't mind buying CAN but if I can get it for around 750, then I'll go it myself...and wait the 5 months:rolleyes:

Lots of guys here buy McMillan's from 24hourcampfire. Seems like the best price going from what I've read. I do believe you just pays your money and after a lengthy wait it shows up.

P.S. try a Brown Precision.;)

Expect PST and GST if applicable, plus the exchange rate.

I've bought 4 of them, only paid tax on 2. I think Customs picks parcels at random to charge taxes, as I've had a few other items come across at no cost as well. That said, I always plan on paying it, then if I don't, all the better...:D

McMillan lists their Hunting stock at US$407 (FULL INLET - action & barrel inlet, includes molded-in color) or US$488 for Custom Drop-in (completely finished and includes: full inlet, pad, 2-studs, paint or molded-in camo or marble colors).

I have only had to pay GST on the 3 McMillans I have received so far...4th is coming, in a few months :( but this one will be my first McSwirely, the rest have been Edge stocks.

Expect to pay the price plus $25 shipping plus a $25 surcharge to have McMillan to ship to Canada. All in US funds. Your credit card will be charged that before they ship; it will be converted to Canadian bucks. You do not need to worry about any extra permits.

At the post office, you will pay GST, PST if applicable and their service fee which runs $5.

Who knows, if you get lucky you may avoid any charges at the post office. I have never been that lucky. ;)

just paid for one today a Mountain rifle swirly, worked out to $530 canadian

On previous orders I have had to pay duty on one, and not on the other weeks later. 3rd one a year later I did pay duty I think

I have a question as I am unsure. I have an old ruger m77 in 30-06. If I simply order an edge for this will I be able to drop it right in, or will I have to rework it some? This gun weighs a ton.

I believe that you still cannot get an EDGE fill for Ruger platforms as of yet. Could be wrong.

I paid less than $600 for my EDGE M40A1 to my door through 24hrcampfire. The dollar was exactly par then.
