My father ordered a barrel from Ian at Adams Lake 7 months ago. The barrel was supposed to take 4 months. He paid in full. Ian hasnt returned a multitude of phone calls and emails. Due to the lack of comunication we are begining to get concerned that he has vanished with the money. Does anyone know how to get ahold of him.

Yup. Sounds like you're #### out of luck. Hope your father has a receipt for his payment in full.

Yes, he is not ordering anymore barrels, but if you have one ordered it will show up. The slow spot is Krieger itself. I just received an order that was placed in April of 2010. It will be made good. Don.

Reading between the lines from the posts on this forum it sounds like Ian has had some heavy issues to deal with. I hope that he is well and if not that he recovers soon.
Meanwhile this lack of communication is causing others extreme duress. I am sure Ian has friends on this forum and if Ian needs help with taking over communicating (closing out) his last deals then surely someone could give him a hand.

I received 3 barrels from Ian a couple weeks ago.

Although he is not taking any new orders, rest assured that he will fill all barrel orders that he has taken payment on.

Ian is a bit difficult to contact at times, but he is an honest man and will fill all of your orders.

Thanx to all for your responses. It makes me feel better knowing that others have recieved barrells despite the lack of communication. I wish Ian all the best yet hope to speak to him soon for any information he may have regarding arrival of the barrel.

Ian is a stand up guy that is having some issues, I would not fear that you are going to be screwed. Sometimes it takes a lot longer time than anticipated to get ordered product for a multitude of reasons that are beyond the control of the vendor.
It IS very frustrating to not have open communications but knowing Ian I suspect there is good reason.
Hang in there I am sure he will look after you.

This is not a problem specific to Ian, as stated if the manufacturer is slow you have to wait. I ordered a barrel through someone else back in July and am still waiting for the manufature to get around to another run of what I asked for.

I think the problems stem more from the lack of communication. All of us who like to shoot have had to learn to wait for stuff from various sections of the firearms industry. The problem is the lack of communication that without genuine mitigating circumstances can never be described as fair play.

And hence its not surprising that people left in the dark start posting questions here.

I purchased a barrel from Ian recently and I was impressed with his price and service. Unfortunately I've left about 10 voicemails and 10 PM messages for him just to get my receipt of purchase.

Dont think it'll ever happen now.
