Adding a bolt knob to a Remington M24

I would agree with most comments here. If you are after used M24, a modification like that would definitely devalued the rifle.

I still don't understand the great need that possesses people to add/alter a bolt knob to what the factory produced... having used bolt action rifles for over 70 years I haven't ever had a problem with a bolt knob.

It's probably "mission specific" so we won't know? I'm guessing the op requires him to wear gloves? maybe it's in an arctic environment?

I am with you. Kind of partial to the low profile factory knobs myself.
