Hey guys,

Recently purchased the Savage 110 Elite (factory MDT ACC chassis) with an area 419 Harris bipod adapter.
Was intended as a fun gun and nothing more, but this ARCA system is growing on me, really pleased on how versatile my bipod has become because of it, and have also found a variety of accessories for ARCA which is really cool.

Want to do the same with my Manners.
Do no want to drill new holes, do not want an half-assed setup either.
Is there such product that’s compatible with a factory Manners PRS1?

Here are a few pictures to give an idea on hole placement.
The barricade stop is also removable so I’d imagine the screw hole for it becomes a solid anchor point.

+1 on the Area419 rail. I used both the 10” and the 4” on my Manners ultra classic, I just used the pre existing bipod stud holes as well as the action screw. Works wonder.

Love the feel of it, feels much warmer than a metal chassis!

It’s an intergrated and non removable mini chassis, in short the bottom metal and bedding metal are one.

I'm with ya, not a fan of metal chassis.

Gottcha on the DBM/mini chassis. Thanks for the info.

Just ordered from Tom at GBT,
I’ll keep you guys posted with pictures of results.

This thread may not have the answer to this question and I may have to start a new one,
I have just abandoned Atlas bipods and switched entirely to Harris for all my rifles.
Now I will have 2x Harris set up for Arca which is nice.

I had collected a bunch of Atlas feet, including spiked hawk hill ones.
Is there a fitting available In Canada to get your Harris bipod to use Atlas feet?

Heard of Pass harris feet adapter on another forum, but very little info on durability and availability.

I have the Pass Atlas foot adapters on one of my Harris' (and use Hawkhill spikes on it). Zero problems with them. Since they accept all Atlas feet, they also allow you to use extensions designed for the Atlas (I have the carbon ones from Pass) which makes them quite versatile. I'll grant that since getting a Ckye-pod my extensions just stay in my pack as the Ckye-pod allows the same (if not more versatility) but in a much quicker manner.

I think I got the Pass feet adapters from Short Action Precision but honestly, I can't quite remember, it's been years. Ckye-pods take any Atlas feet as well.

Install was nice, really love how they got manners stocks in mind.
I could use the barricade stop screw hole without having the rail using my front action screw.
Area 419 has got some locking lugs in it's rail, it's nice to be able to really lock that bipod in position.
Now only waiting on Harris locking lever and pod mod to accommodate my ATLAS feet collection, which is unused since I don't own ATLAS bipods anymore.

so weird for me to see guys go from an Atlas to or back to a Harris.

Great looking rig though Marty. I'm liking your setup a lot.

Thanks!

To be honest, I can't say for sure I'm making the best decision bipod wise.
This winter, I played around dry firing my rifle in improvised positions.
I quickly realized, that a Harris with it's 2 feet tied together with paracord, was MUCH quicker to deploy than an Atlas.

This is where I made a switch to Harris for all my rifles, and now accessorizing my Harris to accommodate Atlas feet and ARCA rails
Got no PRS match experience though, and may not have my thoughts right about this.
Fair warning to anyone wanting to replicate setup!

And if I was to be disappointed with my Harris down the roas and would be wanting to give something else a try, the MDT CKY pod is on my list.
Ability to re-use my Atlas accessories and ARCA rails.

Another bonus of the Harris is you can have two or three for the same price as one Atlas. As far as durability, I have a Harris thats probably older than many members on here and has been used for groundhogs by the thousands and more recently, last twenty years my coyote/deer bipod. Another bonus is your 419 Arca will not let attached articles slide under pressure against barricades or whatever if you use their 419 clamp. Check out their bags for ur Arca also. In my opinion, awesome and frees up ur hands and wont fall off the many props used in PRS. How many times you seen someone adjust the rifle position and the bag falls off to the ground and well, Ooops ur outah time. Wont happen. Cheers Chris. PS nice rig Marty

Thanks!
Is this the bag you are speaking of?
Looks like a solid way to attach a bag to a rifle I like it!

That’s a nice bag setup,
But check out the Railchanger X also,
It’s very versatile, there are several bag options available for use with it including my new favourite bag the Clyde from warhorse development, and you can use the RailchangerX on it’s own as a plate under the fore end
