I've just mounted one of those truglo turkey hi-viz sights to a cheap single-shot shotgun (a Lazer).
The mounting uses a small screw on front that replaces the front bead and on the back it uses opposing plates to pinch the vent riv. It feels sturdy and I've used blue loctite on all threads but looking for all the security I can get.
Should I consider adding some JB Weld? I saw loctite 380 recommended but I can't find that for less than 50$.
Soldering looks like an option but I'm worried all the heat will melt the plastic in the hi-vis tubes.
Any suggestions?
