Santa came early this year! Below are two new additions to my little handgun family - along with the Dlask Custom .45 and the Dan Wesson CBOB .45, I'm now the proud owner of an STI Spartan .45 and a Walther P22.
The Spartan is as good as all of the reviews have said it is. This gun will shoot any kind and size of ammo (including reloads) reliably and will shoot it exceptionally well. The reviewers weren't kidding when they compared this gun's accuracy to high end (semi)custom guns. One of the all-time best shooting values for the money, IMHO.
My Spartan has the following upgrades:
-Ed Brown steel arched grooved mainspring housing (with Ed Brown internals)
-Nowlin aluminum trigger
-STI stainless high performance firing pin and spring
-Chip McCormick sear spring
-Nighthawk Custom extended mag release
-Hogue rubber wraparound grips with stainless grip screws
-Nowlin stainless guiderod plug
