adjust 91/30 to fit m38

Is there anyway that I could adjust (be it filing, or otherwise) a bayonet for a 91/30 mosin to fit onto my new M 38? I realize that for the most part it just seems that the barrel is wider and thus won't fit

When there is a will, there is always a way.
Get rounded file and start filing inside of the bayonet, untill fit on the barrel. Sight may pose problems as it as well need to be filed.
Its doable, only take it slowly and try to fit it while filing.

Buy an M44 and spare the bayonet
