Having a tough time getting my adjustable comb on my Citori to stay tight.
I made a shim for it to keep it at the correct height, but, it seems to come loose after 100 rounds or so. Is there a trick to making the comb stay put ?
thanks

have you tried blue locktite it will hold the screws in place i use it when mounting scope bases on the screws on my rifles and the fore end screws on my bt99 that would back out make sure you only use the blue loctite if you want to remove the screw or screws in the future

Kenny,
I do not have a clue, how to fix your problem. Just curious. Is your comb an aftermarket or the adj. comb that came with it from Browning?

adjustable comb

it is a factory stock on a XS special, no modifacations on comb ,, other than that I love the gun I will try lock tight,, thanks.

Probably by now you've solved the issue, but anyway I had the same problem with a Citori XT, factory adjustable comb, used blue loctite on the screws that hold in the pillars (on the comb itself) and I've had to use shims (washers) to hold at the correct height. Apparently the factory adjustable comb hardware is known for this issue (from talking to other Browning owners at the range).
