Adjusting a Win 94 sight

it's a drift on the rear sight with a hammer- brass or soft face so you don't mark , and brass drift

A good idea would be to protect all metal around the sight with duct tape, that way if you miss the rifle won't get damaged. Sorry maybe I retired too long ago but what is a DP1 course. My memories of Meaford go back to 1982 doing 6 weeks worth of disposal on obsolete ordnance in the CF.

Move your rear sight in the direction you want to shoot. ie to shoot to the left, move it to the left. To shoot higher raise it, to shoot lower, lower it.

Ya, & if you can't remember that, lay out the gun pointing to the bullet holes, & you will realize, you have to move the rear sight to the holes, not the gun to the target.

and if you still can't get near what you want , then it's time to fool with the FRONT SIGHT which works OPPOSITE the way you want- basically, once you get the adjustments made , fire a GROUP (about 5) and see if it's going the way you want- if not try the other direction a little as well- some barrels just plain shoot funny
