Just wondering how. I want to move her a touch to the left. Dont seem to have a tool for it in the kit, and I dont want to f@#k it up. She shoots real nice, just tired of compensating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

So first I'd want to loosen/unscrew the pin. then the base it screws into would be moveable left to right ????

Is an SKS tool shaped to fit over the rectangular base of the pin.? for unscrewing

Thanks

I just did my sks front sight and this looks similar, I had my buddy make a tool that fits over the posts base and unscrewed it, for side to side I used a c-clamp and 5 washer to push it left to right, this worked fairly good the only other advice i can give it not to try to unscrew the post with needle nose pliers, it looks like it will work but trust me have a tool made or buy the sks tool or you will be waiting for parts like i was good luck

For my SKS i took a bolt and cut a slot in it with a zip disk to raise/lower the front post. you could also cut a slot in an allen key.

To adjust for windage, (left/right) I bought a tool. The same tool works on my CZ 858-2. I tried to use a brass punch on my sks, but it was too tight. basically you have to move the pin that the sight post threads into to make left/right adjustments. you don't have to unthread the sight post to make windage adjustments. Hope this helps.
