I got myself a sweet little henry .22 lever action. (love the levers) out of the box it is shooting slightly high and to the left. The front sight is a block and attached with a screw . I understand how to change the elevation using the rear sight but what about left and right. On my old Springfield 87a I just gently tapped the front site with a brass hammer.

So if your shooting high and to the left.

Move the rear site in the direction you want to move the point of impact.
So down and to the right in this case.

Front site is moved in the opposite direction you want the bullet impact to move.
Up and to left in this case.

FART
Front Away (away from where you want the bullet to go)
Rear Towards (the direction you want the bullet to go)
So if you are shooting to the left you move your front sight to the left or the rear to the right. If you’re shooting high adjust your rear sight down to move the bullet down onto the bull's-eye.
