:( I adjusted mine multiple times and never could get a trigger pull that would stay consistent. The darn thing would vary between 3 and 5 lbs. after setting it for 3 lbs. I am wondering if the trigger pull spring is the problem- it has almost no spring to it. I understand an aftermarket spring is available, but $20.00 for an itty bitty thing 1/4" long ??? No thanks!! Has anyone had any success adjusting the new X mark trigger and keeping it adjusted at a consistent weight??

what screw did you adjust? I just did mine and only did the one screw above the front of the trigger. a nice crisp 3.4 lb trigger with no creep and then added a little clear nail polish.

Some adjust fine. Most don't and require internal work and possibly a spring change too. You don't know until you try... I automatically go inside now and work from there. It's $40 and $10 return postage for the trigger group only.

Remington X Mark Trigger

:):) Hi - No complaints about the creep or overtravel. I adjusted the trigger pull screw only bringing the pull to 3.0 lbs from 5lbs. That lasted about 200 rnds and then it increased in pull to 5 lbs.again. Adjusted it again to 3 lbs., another 100 rnds and the trigger began pulling a different weight just about every time I pulled the trigger. The rifle is an R5 and you just can't get the potential out of the rifle with such a crappy trigger. I want to keep it stock and pulling a consistent 2.75 to 3 lbs. all the time. Will send it off to Gunteck. Thanks to everyone who responded.
