I've fired just a few hundred rounds through my new G17 Gen 3 and the trigger pull is harder than I would like it to be for smooth trigger release, compared to my Jericho 941. I've tried looking here and the manual for ways to adjust that weight to no avail. Does anyone know how to adjust that?
Thanks

the dremmel is your best friend. there's plenty of vids available on the tube teaching how to perform the 25c trigger job. once done, get a 4pnd trigger spring, a 13# recoil spring.done.

if you want more work done on the trigger feel, a lenghtened/lightened srtiker (jagger) and a 4pnds striker spring and you'll get a much smoother trigger action . then, if you have 30$ to spend get a glockworx trigger housing with an adjustable trigger travel wich remove the first part of the trigger travel , leaving the 2nd stage and the break only, yet keeping all safeties intact.

Just dont do it. Get proficient with the glock trigger and then you can shoot yours or mine or someone elses the exact same way. The glock takes some practice getting used to. Infact, I traded the first one I got because I thought the trigger was crap. Now I shoot great with it. Comparing it to your Jericho is apples and oranges. I own both and love them both.

+1 to putting the effort into improving your own skill rather than modifying the gun to compensate.

Sounds like the best plan to me. Really no need to mod glocks.

x2!

I went from SIGs to a Glock 21 and it was mildly traumatic at first. But I got used to the trigger - although it took awhile - and now I'm fast and accurate with it. But then I got a Glock 30...with a New York Trigger (ugh!)...so, I bought the parts to make my 30 feel like my standard 21.

There's lots of parts out there that claim to work miracles for the Glock trigger pull, and frankly I think 90% of it is sold to people who really don't know any better.

Practice, practice, practice.

There is a product out there that is amazing the way it changes the feel and reset of the glock trigger as well as the Ruger SR9. I have installed different versions of their products on glocks and SR9's. Here is the site.

Last night I installed the 3.5 pound connector ($10 on ebay). While looking at a YouTube demo of how to install it, I saw a 25 cent trigger job demo too, so I did that while I was at it.

The trigger has the same general feel of a Glock (which I do not like) but it is lighter and a bit smoother. I tried it on the range and shot it a bit better.

I am pleased with myself. Gun works better and I did not lose/break any parts.

The single most important change was the addition of a Glock adjustable rear sight. ($20 on ebay). Now it shoots 2" high instead of 2" low. Perfect!
