Adler 12 shotgun

Adler 12 gauge break-open single shot [3"] have tried different loads and brands . went turkey hunting and the shotgun would not fire every time . [dry fire] .i removed the live shell and noticed that the hammer strikes OFF CENTER . there is no adjustment to be made so i think the best thing is to return it to the store ????? i don't want a refund just another 12 gauge ...am i the only person with that problem ..

The hole in the action is evidently drilled off center. Return it. I doubt very much you are the only one having this problem, or other problems.
