what does a person have to do to change a adl to a bdl? I have a22-250 in a Adl & i want to change to a BDL so i can have a drop plate. :?:

You need a new magazine box and a new trigger guard/floor plate. You can re-use the follower and spring forom the ADL.

Also, you will either have to place your stock or inlet your existing stock for the hardware.

You likely have a short action, so regrettably I can;t help with the parts though I do have the necessary parts in my sales ad in the EE forums to do a long action conversion.

Maybe try Numrich or your local gunsmith.

Why bother? It's the same rifle with different features.

I did this with my 223. Still need a BDL mag box though :x

I also went from BDL to ADL with my custom 260 Rem.



Why bother? Cuz you can alter a rifle in a way that makes it more appealing to you, thats what matters :mrgreen:

You can shorten your ADL box to fit the BDL bottom metal. I have an extra ADL 223 box here if you mess it up :wink:
