Advantage Arms firing pin

Hello CGN, was wondering if anyone can help with this. I have an Advantage Arms 17/22 Gen4 conversion kit for my Glock35 Gen4. I checked and checked again to make sure before I bought that the G35 can fire a AA kit 17/22 and it does so long as they are both Gen4. But when I attach the slide, the trigger will not engage the firing pin, so basically it won't fire and it is very hard to remove the slide. I have to keep pulling on the trigger many times while racking the slide back and forth fast and eventually the trigger will break and I can remove the slide. I don't even load a round obviously, I just want to get the slide off at that point. Anyone else experience this? I willtry and contact Advantage Arms but thought I'd ask here too.

That seems really odd, My Gen for kit for the 21 works flawlessly with me 41. are doing the trick where you are pushing the barrel down on the table to remove the slide? you do not remove the slide like a standard glock slide? where are you located ? shoot me a pm and i could scan you a copy of my instruction mannel if you dont have one.

Try this. Once you have installed slide into place, with an open hand hit the muzzle end of the bbl an it'll lock the bbl lug in place.
