Just wanted to give a quick feedback to those who might be on the fence.

I wasn't sure for some time since 22lr pistols and conversions can be finicky and we are looking at the same price tag if not more than getting a g44, so that much for just a slide was a bit of a turn off... But for now, adding a 44 to the armory is not possible, and price of 9mm isn't what it used to be...

Tried my conversion today for the first time, shot a little over +-300 ounds to try it. My exact iteration is the Glock 19 gen3 threaded barrel. Have and tried the 2 included g19 sized 10rnds mags, as well as 2 g17 sized pinned to 10 mags. No trouble with any of em.

Slide on my frame right on, no drag, no trouble, no connector tuning required or anything. Feels a little lighter than with the OEM slide on. It comes with what looks like OEM Glock sights regular height.

10 ammo type tested (20-40 per), function tested, no accuracy data taken. The kit comes with a reference sheet stating some strongly recommended, recommended, and not recommended ammo lists.

Federal Champion blue box 40gr RN : no go (for now) ejects fine, wouldn't bring the next round in and/or fully go into battery. Was the very first ammo to go thru the kit, might of needed some more testing, will try it again as ai have a lot of it and usually goes well.
CCI Blazer 40gr RN : all good.
Federal Auto match 40gr RN : all good.
Sellier&Bellot Canadian match 40gr RN : all good.
Aguilar Super Extra 40gr RN : all good.
Aguila Super Extra 38gr HP : no go, stove pipes every two rounds.
American eagle red box 38gr HP : all good.
Winchester Wildcat 40gr RN : all good.
Winchester 333 36gr HP : all good.
Winchester Super X 40gr RN : no go, stove pipes and multiple failure to extract.

So, the kit works with a relatively large variety of ammo, most of it being widely available with some often on sale too. Accuracy data will be collected when I get the chance (not that often with the kids).

Anecdotally, I can say I've had almost the opposite result.

Aside from expensive and hot rounds, I have great trouble with mine (Glock 17 model).

I get some better result if I run the gun wet. Literally hose it down with gun oil and maybe I get through a magazine without a hang up, maybe.

I believe the chamber is too tight in its tolerances as most of the problems I'm having with it is extraction. I've left the range more times than I can count with a fired cartridges brass stuck in the chamber.

I'd welcome any other suggestions to get this running half as well as yours.

As it was literally out the box, I can't take any credit for good function or offer much support.

What you describe is what happened in my kit using Super X. 2 out of 3 cases wouldn't extract and get stuck in the chamber.

Do you recall what ammo you tried? It said high velocity is the sweetspot, some regular ammo will work good and not to use hyper velocity. Funny enough, they also said not to use Winchester as their powder is too slow and doesn't work good in their kits, my results weren't bad with 2 types of Win so who knows...

In the reference sheet, it said that lubricity was a big factor to their kit and even suggested to lightly spray with wd40 to widen the variety of ammo that works... Wasn't clear if they were talking about spraying the gun internals or ammo...? Their website also states : ''Aftermarket parts such as trigger bars and connectors, especially the Ghost Connector, can adversely affect the function and reliability of your conversion kit''. I personally had to tune my gun quite a bit when I had my Ghost connector. Don't know if your Glock is stock or not?

There was a good thread on a US forum about it and they were talking about polishing the feed ramp. Not sure how that would help for extraction problems tho. Hae you had a good look at the extrator?

My kit runs on any CCI and Remington golden bullets. Federal and Winchester are pretty much a no go. I vaguely recall a mag mod that can increase ammo reliability

I’ve put thousands of rounds thru a Gen3 G19 kit over last 5 years and it has been remarkably reliable. The caveat with these will always be “ with the right ammo”. The wrong ammo is an exercise in frustration, however mine will eat cheap Thunderbolt all day long, and of course CCI Mini Mags are always good to go. Mine functions equally well with any AA mags, 19 or 17 length, so no worries there. I used mine for Speed Steel for around 3 full seasons but a buddy gave me a ridiculously good deal on a G44 two years ago and I’ve been shooting it more than the AA kit. I’ve done some testing with both and the AA kit is definitely more accurate than my G44 is with almost any ammo. I’ve thought about selling it, moving it on to someone who could use it more than I am, especially since I know many missed out on a G44, but I just can’t seem to pull the trigger on listing it lol.
My overall opinion on the AA G19 kit after 5 years and honestly far over 10k rounds is absolutely positive,,,,with the right ammo

I have an AA kit with 3 mags for my Gen 3 G17.

I've only fed it CCI Mini Mags as per the manual and it's worked great. Will do as raqh and bring a wide range of ammo from the locker to what it can feed reliably.
