Hi all

I was wondering if any of you would be kind to help me with advice for looking for a new non-restricted to own, but I’m not sure what to get was looking online wish to look in the store to in town were i live.

There only 2 stores in London which realy dont give me much options? I bought a Ruger 10/22, and Mossberg 590a1 shotgun during the last 2 months this year was looking for an main battle rifle i think? but cant realy spent to much since cost will be a factor with ammo Avaibleity for right now maybe in the fall/new year can buy it?

I don’t have any practice yet with either of them yet since I’m still very new to everything and barely getting off the ground with this hobby.

I’m not sure where to go in London, Ontario to go practice if even able to at all? Really can’t afford year range membership right now was lookign at one an long while back like last year, and I’m not sure what to do with my restricted side of my pal?

Since I’m able to own and posses both non-restricted and restricted, but I don’t have the clue how to even own a restricted? And don’t think I’ll ever be able to own restricted firearms the way ontario is setup any more.

Just seem like to much work to even get one anymore since I read some how people go about it but I’m really don’t understands it at all to say sadly. Also spent 1k in ammo cost in 1 month with .22rl and 12ga shells >< *omg* or not able to find what im looking for to buy or on backorder in-store or online.

Thinking of starting reloading but since i'm so new not sure if ill be any good at that to say with getting parts and such with nothing in stock with online store's any more? Other then I got the rpal this April and hope to hear from any of you if able to for advice and such.

any help would be greatly appreacted

I'm sorry snowy, I wanted to help you, but the lack of punctuation made my eyes hurt and I couldn't focus anymore.
You did ask where you can shoot. I'm not sure if its the closest to you, but Silverdale is a good range, and you can buy day passes instead of a yearly membership. If you are going to be owning AND SHOOTING restricted firearms though, you will have to get a yearly membership; as per the CFO.
That's about the extent of what I understood. That and you spent 1k on ammo... haha!
Have fun with the new toys!
xoxo

Hi ibloom

im extreamly sry for you unable to read my post i took more time to wright it this time out, what did i do wrong for lack of punctuation. could you be kind to help so i dont make the same mistake again or make it better?

Its all kinds of wrong. But nevermind that punctuation doesnt matter here. The Ruger 10/22 and Mossberg 590 are a good start. Just get familiar with them and keep plinking away at the range. Its only a matter of time before you make friends at the range and hopefully someone will be nice enough to let you try out a gun or two. This IMO is the best way to see what you really like and go from there. $1000 on ammo in a month with a .22 is CRAAAZZZYYY... At $22/500rnds I hate math but thats like 10,000rnds of .22 and 2500 shot shells. Its probably not your punctuation thats bad your just still in shell shock! Hahaha. Reloading for a .22LR is NOT WORTH IT in my opinion and unless you REALLY shoot ALOT of 12 gauge, again not worth it.

Hi Flyingcanadianguy

ok well im going up north to my parents to practice up there for 3 months but not sure if 5,200 lr with 625 target shots with 10 oo buckshots the 1,000 dollars is between the lr and shots ammo not sure if that going to last me much when up there :p

Then when to the shop the other day and eye an mosin nagant for $160 with every thing matching was that an good buy? if you like pic i can try to add them for you all to see?

Any way then had 160 rounds of 7.62 x54r but not sure if that going to be eaqought ammo for the mosin nagant and should i go get more ammo? lol XD if i do an rain dance for ammo from the gods should i do it? XD

As for the ammo reloading for those cal and ga ok so not worth the time then, i would like to get in to centerfire like maybe an mimi 14 for since cant realy buy an ar 15 untill i join an silly gun club same with pistols too then the ltatt :(

any way thank you for your wisdom and still in shell shock for me XD.

Hi Snowy,

You have got two great guns, just get used to them for now. You don't have to buy all your guns in the first year. Go shooting with what you got, spend time on this website and take your time since you said funds will be an issue.

Hi been a while sicne i posted any thing on this site been bsuy with rl and other things.

well to let you all known i had fun practicing with the ruger 22. and mossberg 590 and the newest baby gun is the moslin nagat, which i bought before i when up in the summer last year.

I had a blast with them all to say <3 but sadly was only able to got practice 3 times during the whole 3 months, which i thought was very terrible to say.

I was hoping that more time with them all would be good for me but only had 3 times with the 22. then 1x for both with the moslin and 590 12ga,felt like a waste of time last year.

This year going to see if i can pay for range membership then just go for this summer and such to practice i hope, but then again would i get the most out of it or not for the year?

any way hope you all having a good week and such and hope to hear from you all soon.
