Advice needed

Thinking about a Henry Golden Boy in .22 or .17 HMR. Will use it for tree rats of all sizes & plinking at camp. What calabre should I get? No experience with the .17's

If you are going to do more hunting get the .17 HMR for greater range and flatter trajectory. If more plinking will be done get the .22lr to save $$$.

For tree rats and plinking I would go for the .22 as Ducimus mentioned just for the $$$
