I need to buy some factory 223 as there is just no time to work up a load with work and home chores for quite awhile. Whatever I use must be brass cased for future reloading. 55 grain or less as it is a 1 in 12" twist CZ 527 bolt.

Norinco is an option but the reports vary and FMJ limits use. It seems to be love or hate and there are reports of hard primers for bolt action's pin strikes and mediocre accuracy. How reloadable is the brass?

What about American Eagle bulk ammo? How is the brass and accuracy in your tests? There seems to be some question about soft brass.

Is there a middle of the road bulk you would recommend? I'm wondering about some bulk Winchester and Rem UMC offerings. I also know nothing of the less known options like Wolf or PRVI and am hoping to buy in Alberta but if priced right would consider mail order.

What are favorite factory ammo choices for a varmint rifle? I'm hoping for 1 moa and this rifle shoots pretty good in early tests.

What is your preferred brass cases for a walking varmint rifle? No money for the target grade stuff like Lapua. But if I'm going to step up in price really good brass makes sense.

Edit: I'm looking hard at the Hornady 223 55 SP 50 count ammo for the high end. Looking hard at the American Eagle red box 223 50 grain JHP for the cheaper alternative. Just wondering about AE brass.
